Frequently Asked Questions

What's an API credit?

API credits are a way of making sure you pay only for the computing resources that you use. Each API call costs between 0 and 5 credits. Generally a standard user operation uses about 30 API credits. You can see a full table, and information on how we derived these credits,on our API credits docs page.

What happens when I use all of my free credits?

On paid plans your service will continue and you will be charged for more API credits. API credits are automatically charged in 35,000 tranches at $50 per 35,000 credits. If you are on a free plan, your service will stop and you won't be able to make any more API requests.

How do I start?

The fastest way to get started with ERC-4337 is with the ERC-4337 quickstart guide.

Can you help me with my project?

You can book a discovery package where we can do a dedicated analysis and answer all of your questions. Stackup is not a professional services firm, but if you use our infrastructure we'll do our best to get you off the ground. Dedicated support options are also available as an add-on service.

Why do I need more than one app key?

Each API key corresponds to a single network. So if you have only one API key, you can only access one network with a single set of security rules in your dashboard. Sometimes, you will want multiple API keys to access the same network. For example, you may want to have a different API key for your backend services than your front end application.

Which tier is right for me?

Our free tier is the fastest to get started, and you can upgrade at any time.

If you need access to more features like the paymaster or more keys, the developer tier is a good option.

If you have an early stage project we recommend the startup tier.

We also have custom enterprise plans available with better rates, support, and so on but you'll need to talk to one of our humans at founders@stackup.sh to hear more.

What blockchains does Stackup support?

Stackup supports Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche C Chain, and BnB Smart Chain (BSC).

Can I add a fee to my paymaster or do revenue share?

Yes, but right now this isn't self-serve. Please contact us at founders@stackup.sh.
